Elizabeth S. Hansen
I am a full-time undergraduate pursuing Bachelor of Arts degrees in creative writing (poetry) and communication, as well as a writing certificate, at Arizona State University under Barrett the Honors College. In addition to this, I was a social media intern, poetry editor, student editor-in-chief, and am now a content coordinator for the online literary magazine Superstition Review. I am also an intern for the ASU literary magazine Marooned. My poetry has been published in issue 8 of Miracle E-zine and Lux Undergraduate Creative Review and is forthcoming in Marooned Undergraduate Creative Review.
I was recently a communication intern with the new Center for Political Thought and Leadership under the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU. While there, I focused on learning AP Style and how to navigate community calendars, among other things.
This year I am participating in several organizations, including the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi as a recent initiate and current student vice president and the Barrett Mentoring Program as a mentor.
After graduation, I plan to attend graduate school in order to pursue a master's in mass communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
